Wooohooo!! I'm Finally back..... from INDIA! Those 7 days was sooo cold!Anyway, everyone in our class hopes Mr Low will be our next year's form teacher.... LOL...
The first day we took SIA to Dehli. The time difference between Singapore and India:2 hrs 30mins. We left Singapore at 6 PM SST (Singapore standard time) on SQ408. We arrived in india at 11PM IST(Indian Standard time) which is 1:30 AM SST. Nothing much. just check into 'hotel regent continental' for overnight. Next morning we ate breakfast and went to the airport for our flight to Srinagar, Capital of Kashmir. During the flight, got a lot of wind. One time , the wind was so strong that the plane was like gonna crash. Everyone screamed!!! Some muslims who just came back from the hajj cried for Allah!!! Me? I just shut my eyes and said,"Here we go......" We manage to land safely on srinagar airport, 1090 metres above the sea. (Srinagar is located on the foot of the himalayas) When we stepped out of the plane it became so damn cold!!!Then we made our way to Gulmarg, 35km away, 2000 metres above sea level. We reached there at about 3pm IST and checked into 'Pine palace resort',a 2-star resort (no internet connection!!) We had tea and bla bla bla.So after dinner we went out for a walk. But out side was minus 5 degrees and it was snowing!!! It was the first time I saw snow falling out of the sky. We went back to our room and....oh darn! a blackout!!! Luckily, we had torchlights and the resort employees gave us candles. Feeling tired, we turned in for the night......at 8 PM!! because it was already 10.30 in Sin. Bad thing was , the heater was not working and the electric blankets were not working bcos of the power failure. AND IT WAS FREEZING OUTSIDE!!! But I managed to sleep...... that's all. BYEBYE!!!
